At The Inn Spot Community Acupuncture & Stress Relief Lounge, all of our acupuncturists are licensed and board certified. We use hair-thin needles, making the experience of acupuncture treatment much different than an injection, in order to stimulate specific acupuncture points on your body.
Gua sha is an ancient massage technique used to reduce pain and muscle tension. A round-edged tool such as a jade stone or ceramic spoon is applied to the skin with massage oil. Benefits of gua sha are increased local blood circulation and breakdown of scar tissue.
Cupping has been used in traditional medicines for thousands of years across the globe in Asia, Europe, Middle East, and North America. Its widespread popularity is easily understood, as it improves circulation, stimulates detoxification, releases muscle tension and resets fascia to help relieve pain.
Community Acupuncture Services
Community Acupuncture is provided in a group setting in which multiple patients recieve treatments at the same time. Community acupuncture is a world-wide movement to create access to healing while removing the barrier of the cost to recieve multiple acupuncture treatments. We want to treat as many in our community as we possibly can. Patients will be seated in a calm, healing and supportive setting. A typical Community Acupuncture treatment averages 20-40 minutes.
