About Our Services
The Inn Spot Community Acupuncture & Stress Relief Lounge offers low-cost acupuncture, integrative health services and healing arts to our community. We provide high quality treatments administered by licensed acupuncturists in a healing and supportive setting. We also offer very affordable rates so that finances are not a barrier to receiving health services.
Private Acupuncture
Private Acupuncture is for individuals looking for more personalized attention with a wider variety of treatment therapies. Treatment can target stress disorders, digestive issues, allergies, migraine pain management, women’s health, and more. Sessions take place in a private, peaceful setting with the patient and acupuncturist.
Community Acupuncture Services
Community Acupuncture is provided in a group setting where multiple patients receive treatments at the same time. This world-wide movement aims to create access to healing while removing the barrier of cost to receive multiple acupuncture treatments. Our goal is to treat as many individuals in our community as we possibly can, and patients can expect to be treated in a calm and supportive setting. A typical Community Acupuncture treatment averages 30-45 minutes long.
Gua Sha
Gua sha is an ancient massage technique used to reduce pain, release muscle tension, increase blood circulation, and breakdown scar tissue. During this treatment a round-edged tool, such as a jade stone or ceramic spoon, is applied to the skin with massage oil.
Cupping
Cupping has been used in traditional medicines for thousands of years across the globe in Asia, Europe, Middle East, and North America. This treatment is known to improve circulation, stimulate detoxification, release muscle tension, and reset fascia to help relieve pain.
Free Acupuncture Services for Military, First Responders and their Families
The Inn Spot has partnered with Acupuncturists Without Borders to provide free acupuncture treatments every Tuesday to our Veterans. This includes military personnel, first responders, veterans, reserves, retired and active duty, as well as their family members. Our licensed acupuncturists utilize the NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) protocol acupuncture treatment. This treatment is the most effective acupuncture treatment linked to veteran trauma-related injuries such as PTSD, flashbacks, opiate addiction, and anxiety. Each treatment lasts 20-40 minutes and takes place in a calm, healing community setting.
By appointment only.
